How I can help you…
Feeling tired all the time? Been muddling through with allergies, reflux, bloating and unexpected urgent toilet trips for ages? Perhaps you’ve noticed a bit more weight appearing around your middle… and now the doctor is talking to you about your blood sugar levels and your cholesterol? You thought you were more-or-less on top of it all but your health seems to be on a bit of a downward spiral.
Let me give you a plan to take back control and get on with living life.
How it works…
I use a functional medicine approach to review your full health history and assess your current eating pattern and lifestyle to identify the root causes of your health issues rather than just treat your symptoms. We then work together to create an evidence-based plan of nutrition and lifestyle changes which help you move towards your health goals at a pace which suits you. At the end of the sessions you will have a toolkit you can continue to use to make better food and lifestyle choices to feel at your best every day.
I have successfully helped many clients struggling with a variety of health complaints such as excess weight, fatigue, gut complaints, anxiety, diabetes, menopausal symptoms and cardiovascular conditions to feel better and get back to living their lives. In addition to sharing nutritional information, recipes, tips and best-practice, I provide my clients the tools to take ownership of their own health. This means that in the future, when things get on top of you and your best intentions disappear in a sea of emails, housework, family commitments, social engagements and work deadlines, you have a personalised toolkit you can reach for, when you’re ready, to get back on track.
Having trained originally as an Aerospace Engineer, analysing and solving complex problems were part of my job for many years and in 2010, after we identified my husband’s erratic moods, poor sleep and stomach cramps were due to gluten intolerance, I became fascinated by the enormous potential for nutrition and lifestyle to resolve health issues and discovered this was where my real passion lay. I completed an MSc in Nutritional Therapy at the University of Worcester and my goal as a practitioner is to provide my clients with the best possible nutritional therapy, lifestyle and coaching support, helping them to harness the power of nutrition and lifestyle to achieve their health goals.
